Reunions - Comments Needed
The ROAR! (Regtl Official Albuhera Reunion) was held last two years in St Paul's Cathedral, London, in the Middlesex Regimental Chapel. The proximity of this to Army v Navy Rugby (match 2 weeks beforehand) meant that many could not fund travel for both as they 'clash'. Battle Rhythm: We are a big regiment across a huge area of SE England. We also have a big responsibility to balance the needs of our famous history, our forebears and also our many younger members. This is not easy! Our County Branches are now discussing the following key events across the year to allow that: [Note; ones marked * are the *Major PWRR Association events, all in good weather months & spread out on the map!]

- Branch/County level local 'Sobraon' meet up: February.
- Army v Navy Rugby reunion: May. Ideal for younger Tigers to meet up and enjoy.
- *Albuhera Day, May. St Paul's Cathedral & Silent Toasts. Ideal for London Branch, our many forebear veterans & supporters/families.
- *Buffs Sunday, Canterbury in July. Summer Sunday meet up for Kent, Surrey, Sussex. (Tigers East)
- *Minden Day, Hampshire, August. Summer meet up for Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey. (Tigers West)
- *NEW: Salerno Day, September, London. Saturday: PWRR Assoc AGM 1300-1330 (lunch on Assoc) & afternoon reunion drinks.
- Remembrance Sunday, November. All attend local memorials, freedom town wreath laying or Cenotaph, London (ticketed).
- Branch / Ambush Drinks for Christmas as arranged, December.

Each Albuhera Day, we parade our colours in the National Cathedral, pay tribute to our fallen & absent friends and then head to a lunch for the loyal 'silent toast' ceremony, conducted by all ranks. [This honour is unique to the Association event; only SNCOs and above hold this ceremony in Battalions]. Booking is via London Branch PWRRA or your local Branch Facebook. Dress code: veteran order. Families welcome but book early as numbers can be limited.
Forebear regiment veterans and our valued supporters, families, widows and donors are warmly welcome to attend as this is a Albuhera Day reunion for all the 'regimental family'. Dress is smart and it is a memorable day out. Book in via RHQ.
Officers' Club members hold a separate lunch & ceremony nearby before joining the main reunion after lunch. Details and booking via RHQ Dep Sec.
