New Book on the Regiment!

INFANTRY DIE HARDS – THE ANATOMY OF A REGIMENT
Colonel Patrick Crowley, Deputy Colonel Heritage, has written a unique new book for the Regiment.  It highlights the role of the infantry and then tells some of the key Regimental stories, through our history.  It highlights the role played by the infantry regiments of the south east, from Tangier in the 17th century to modern Iraq and Afghanistan and the long campaign in Northern Ireland.  The Foreword is by Colour Sergeant Johnson Beharry VC and the Afterword by the Colonel of The Regiment.  All profit made goes to Regimental Benevolence and the order flyer is attached.  If you want to support benevolence, this purchase is a ‘must’!  Download the flyer here to order this brilliant book.

New Book to Raise Funds for our Museum

Picture
John Bennett of East Kent Branch writes:
"I have written a book chronicling my time as a TA soldier during the height of the Cold War with the highs and lows and everything in between, through to 2005 when I retired after participation on an operational tour and a once in a lifetime trip to Kazakhstan.
I am self-publishing this book as too many people get a slice of the proceeds otherwise. I want to donate the proceeds to the regimental museum in Dover. I will be selling it for £12 including the envelope and postage. For those who have already pre-ordered I will be in touch over the weekend. If you are interested in a copy please message me."
